Sarah Bush Lincoln will host its 29th annual golf benefit on Friday, June 8, at Mattoon Golf & Country Club.Net proceeds from the event will benefit construction of Sarah Bush Lincoln’s new Heart Center.
Through its Life . . .Nothing Beats It campaign, SBL Health Foundation is committed to raising at least $2 million to support construction of the $31 million project. The second floor will house 20 additional private, inpatient rooms. The entire addition will be connected to each adjacent floor of the Health Center, including a new elevator going to the third and fourth floors. It is expected to open in the fall.
The event offers golfers the option of either a morning or afternoon flight. A continental breakfast will be available during morning registration, which begins at 6:30 am, prior to a 7:30 am tee off. Lunch will be served from 11 am to 2 pm, and registration for the afternoon flight, which tees off at 1 pm, will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
