Sarah Bush Lincoln will host its 27th annual golf benefit on Friday, June 10, at the Mattoon Golf & Country Club. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the construction of Sarah Bush Lincoln’s new Regional Cancer Center.

Through its Building Hope Campaign, the SBL Health Foundation is committed to raising $3.5 million to support construction of the $15.4 million project.

Golfers have a choice of either a morning or afternoon flight. A continental breakfast will be available during morning registration, which begins at 6:30 am, prior to a 7:30 am tee off. Lunch will be served from 11 am to 2 pm and registration for the afternoon flight will begin at 11:30 am. The afternoon flight will tee off at 1 pm.

Prizes will be awarded to winners of challenges on each of the 18 holes during a reception from 6 to 8 pm in the clubhouse. Prizes include: gift certificates from area restaurants; furniture; Cardinals and Cubs baseball tickets; Chicago Bulls basketball tickets; Illinois football tickets; Nascar tickets; and outdoor living and patio items.

The lucky winner of a raffle will win a seven day/six night trip to Maui, Hawaii. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased for $10 each during the golf benefit. However, buy early to take advantage of the “buy one, get one free” offer available to anyone purchasing raffle tickets before June 9. You need not be present to win. Special thanks to Doug & Tracey McCord for the generous donation of their Hawaii home.

Title sponsors for this year’s event include: BSA LifeStructures; Coles-Moultrie Electric Cooperative; Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP; and McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
